Revolutionising Women’s Football at FiveZero International

Meet Lauren, the newest addition to the FiveZero International family, stepping into her role as with a passion matched only by her love for the game.

Background:

Lauren’s journey through football has seen her play competitively in both the UK and the USA. From her early days at Lewes Football Club and Crystal Palace Football Club to gracing the fields of Laramie County Community College in Wyoming and then moving to the NCAA division 2 school The College of Saint Rosein New York, she’s etched her name in the records of the sport. A decorated player, Lauren earned her stripes as an All-American during her college years, showcasing her prowess as a midfielder and forward. Being an All- American recognises the best players in the country voted for by coaches that players play against. Back in the UK her heart beats blue for Chelsea, and her passion for football knows no bounds.

Now, transitioning from the States into her dream job, Lauren brings a wealth of experience and an extensive network of contacts within the game. With an eye finely tuned to spot talent and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed, she’s poised to make a significant impact in her new role.

All FiveZero team members have had experience of the scholarship process from start to finish, and Lauren is no different. Lauren as a player, played in the UK at the highest youth level, transitioned to the USA and is now successfully helping others to be successful. Therefore, Lauren gets it, she understands the situation players are in, and considers their academic and athletic future and how to get the best out of both.

Mission and Motivation:

What drives Lauren isn’t just the thrill of the game, but it is also the opportunity to change lives. For her, success is measured in the smiles of the girls she works with, in finding them the perfect schools to nurture their talents and aspirations. Motivated by her own journey, Lauren is determined to pave the way for others to experience the same opportunities she once did, whether it’s the exhilaration of the NCAA tournament or the personal growth that comes with chasing their dreams.

Perks and Passion:

One of the perks Lauren cherishes most about working with the FiveZero team is the flexibility to work from home, allowing her to create a space where she can thrive. But beyond the perks, it’s the passion for her work that truly drives her. Every day is an opportunity to make a difference, to shape careers, and to empower young women to reach their full potential.

Behind the Scenes:

Away from the pitch, Lauren spends time with her family, feline friends and enjoys a whole range of sports. Her dad, Colin, stands as her biggest supporter and closest confidant, while her three cats reign supreme in her house. With a twin brother in Australia and an older brother in Canada, family ties stretch far and wide, grounding her amidst the whirlwind of her career.

In her spare time, you’ll find Lauren soaking up the sights of her hometown of Shoreham by the Sea, indulging in beachside walks, and even taking the occasional dip. Away from the UK you can find Lauren conquering the slopes of Andorra – she once won a bronze medal in a whole resort race. A lover of country music, she loves the sounds of Luke Holmes, and her adventurous spirit has led her to bask in the natural hot springs of Wyoming.

One of Lauren’s proudest moments was when she graced the stage of the National Championship final in Colorado Springs with her team. The team flew from New York to Colorado, and the air crew even gave them a shout out over the plane’s speakers.

As Lauren steps into her new role at FiveZero International, she brings unwavering dedication to making the future of women’s football brighter than ever before.
